The ultimate dip, snack, appetizer, AND side dish to any summer party! It’s sweet and juicy, yet tart and creamy all at the same time. We are about 3 weeks away from the ‘official’ start of summer but it's already reached the 90s here in Atlanta so I think it’s socially acceptable to break out the summertime salsa!
This salsa takes about 5 minutes to whip up! Maybe quicker if you know how to cut a mango properly - I had to YouTube it. Mangoes have a pretty hard core right in the center of the fruit. To start, cut the ‘cheeks’ of the mango. Aka if you cut the mango into thirds, it would be the first and third sections. Then from there you can dice it up, flip it inside out, and slice off the cubes! You may now call me a mango slicer connoisseur.
Let’s chat about what really makes this mango salsa the best thing at the party - the chunks of avocado. Let’s be honest here, if someone doesn’t care for these chunks of avocado, they probably shouldn’t be at the party anyways (I kid I kid ????). In all seriousness though, the creamy texture of the avocado combined with the sweetness of the mango is pretty much the perfect salsa combo. I definitely recommend pairing this with some grain-free tortilla chips but I also won’t judge you if you decide you just want to stick a spoon in it. It’s THAT good.Print
