Description
Sweet and crisp cinnamon baked apples swimming in a delicious cinnamon dusting. This apple bake is a fan favorite in our house all year round. This classic recipe is easy and simple and made with clean ingredients. Best served warm right a big scoop of paleo ice cream!

- 6 apples (4 red and 2 green)
- 2 tsp cinnamon (plus 1 tsp extra to top, optional)
- 1 tsp nutmeg
- 1/2 tsp cloves
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 3 Tbsp coconut oil (melted and cooled)
- Vanilla ice cream (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 F. Cut apples into slices (remove skin if desired) and place in a 9 X 13 baking dish
- In a bowl, mix the cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, vanilla, coconut sugar, and coconut oil until well combined
- Sprinkle the cinnamon mixture over the apples and toss with a rubber spatula. Sprinkle with extra cinnamon if desired
- Bake in oven for 40 minutes until soft
- Serve warm with a scoop of Paleo Vanilla Ice Cream or store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Just heat the dish in oven when ready to eat
