Food is my love language. I show love through sharing food (although not the food on my plate - ‘Ansley doesn’t share food!’). If I give you food, I probably dig your presence. Food also tends to bring people together, and I think that’s pretty awesome. Especially in today’s world where everyone is go, go, go all the time and communication is primarily done from behind a screen. However, when you do carve out time to gather around a table, catch up with friends & family, and enjoy delicious food, it’s something special.

We were getting ready for a good friend come into town to visit and naturally all I could think about was what kind of food can we make for him. Then this popped into my mind - Waffle Bar Party duhh!!

I mean who doesn’t love waffles on a Saturday morning? On top of that (pun intended) you get to create them yourself! Are you a savory guy? No problem, throw some eggs and bacon on it. In the mood for a sweet one? I gottchu, pile it high with fresh blackberries, strawberries, and blueberries. Wanna take a trip on the WiLd side? How about some cookie butter or a dollop of peppermint mocha cream cheese frosting?

(party of 4)


Mix together 3 cups of the waffle mix, 3 eggs, 2 scoops of collagen peptides, and 1/4 cup of water. Continue to add splashes of water until you achieve your desired consistency. Grease waffle maker (tip - grease with 4th & Heart Vanilla Bean Ghee for some heavenly waffles) and pour in batter, making sure not to full up the entire circle. As they are ready, store waffles in pre-heated oven (around 250F) so they stay warm while you cook the rest of the batter.


Place toppings in little bowls and arrange on table.


  • Scrambled eggs

  • Paleo bacon

  • Fresh pressed orange juice

When ready, pull waffles out of oven and place on table. Now dig in!!
