step 1

Whisk together egg, melted butter, vanilla extract, sugar, brown sugar, greek yogurt, and espresso until smooth.

Fold in flour, cocoa powder, espresso powder, nutmeg, and baking powder until smooth without clumps. 

step 3

Fill each cavity of a greased doughnut pan 3/4 of the way full with bater. 

step 4

Bake until doughnuts rise. Cool slightly and transfer to wire rack. Repeat step 3 until all batter has been used. 

step 5

Prepare glaze by mixing powdered sugar, espresso powder, and coffee until no clumps remain. Add more coffee until desired consistency. 

step 6

Dip each coffee doughnut one by one to coat doughnut. Let glaze run off doughnut and place on wire rack to set. Repeat until finished. 

Display on platter and enjoy!
