Sugar Cookie Martini

Dive into the holiday spirit with this sugar cookie martini! It's super creamy with hints of Christmas' favorite sugar cookie flavor in every sip and a festive sprinkle rim. Made with less sugar than the standard drink and dairy free.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Red and green sprinkles for the rim
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup sub. with honey or agave. for the rim
  • cup Vanilla Silk Oat Milk Creamer sub. Vanilla dairy free creamer
  • 1 ½ oz rum clear or dark both work
  • ¼ oz Benedictine
  • teaspoon almond extract

Instructions

  • Add the sprinkles to a small shallow plate; set aside. Spread the maple syrup on a separate plate. Dip the martini glass upside down in the maple syrup to coat the rim. Let the syrup run off the rim before placing the rim on the plate with the sprinkles. Make circular motions with the glass to fully coat the rim. Stand the martini glass up right and allow the rim to set while you make the rest of the cocktail.
  • To prepare the cocktail, fill a shaker with ice and add the oat milk creamer, rum, Benedictine, and almond extract to the shaker. Shake well for about 20 seconds until there is froth on top.
  • Pour the cocktail into the martini glass through a strainer and enjoy!

Notes

Oat milk creamer : I used he Silk Vanilla Oat Milk Creamer and also like Califia Farms Vanilla Almond Milk Creamer and NutPods Sweet Creme Creamer. If you use a different unsweetened NutPod creamer, I would add a little sugar to sweeten it a tad. If you can't use oat or almond milk creamer, substitute with plant milk and add 1 tablespoon of coconut sugar and 1 teaspoon of vanilla.
Pouring : Leave some room in between the sprinkle rim and the cocktail in the glass. If the cocktail touches the sprinkle rim, the sprinkles will dissolve into the drink and turn it a different color. Not a bad thing but I like the drink to be a nice cream color like a sugar cookie!
