step 1

Dice apples and cook them in pan with butter, apple cider, nutmeg, cinnamon, and cloves

Once soft, blend until they reach a jam-like consistency. 

step 3

Roll the dough into two large rectangles.

step 4

Spread the apple butter on top of one dough rectangle. Add the other piece of dough on top of the apple butter. Crimp the edges and poke holes. 

step 5

Bake until golden brown. Allow to cool. Make and spread frosting over the top of the pop tart.
