ORANGE & DATE
Step 1 : mix the wet ingredients
Whisk together the wet ingredients and the coconut sugar in a large mixing bowl.
Step 2 : fold in the dry ingredients
Add the dry ingredients and fold into the batter until no flour clumps remain.
Step 3 : fold in dates and orange zest
Add the orange zest and chopped dates to the bowl and fold into the batter.
Step 4 : slice into triangles
Form the dough into a large thick circle and cut into 6 triangles.
Step 5 : brush with egg wash
Use a pastry brush to brush the tops of the date and orange scones with the egg wash.
Bake until golden then top with glaze!
