Equipment

1 Large Baking Sheet or Pizza Stone
1 Rolling Pin or Glass

Ingredients

  • 1 cup flour all purpose or gluten free 1:1*
  • ½ cup Greek yogurt plain and unsweetened (I like 5% fat but 2% or 0% will work fine too)
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon Italian seasonings
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon water ONLY if using gluten free 1:1 flour

Toppings

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ½ cup Pizza sauce
  • ¼ cup Mozzarella cheese
  • Vegetables I love using red onion and red bell pepper
  • Meat I used turkey pepperoni but also love ground sausage or pulled chicken too

Instructions

  • Preheat oven to 400F. Prepare a large baking sheet or pizza stone with parchment paper on top.
  • Make the dough. In a large bowl, add all of the ingredients and mix with a spatula or spoon until a shaggy ball of dough forms.
1 cup flour, ½ cup Greek yogurt, 1 teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon Italian seasonings, ¼ teaspoon sea salt, 1 tablespoon water ONLY if using gluten free 1:1 flour
  • Knead the dough. The dough will be slightly sticky and shaggy. Transfer it to a lightly floured surface and knead it until it becomes smooth and pillowy. If you find it’s too after a few minutes, add another light dusting of flour. If it becomes too dry, add a small splash of water.
  • Form the pizza. Once the dough is soft, use a rolling pin or glass to roll it into a large circle about ¼ inch thick. You should be able to make a 12 inch pizza. You can pinch the edges just a bit all the way around the pizza to create a crust.
  • Assemble. Transfer the pizza to the baking sheet or pizza stone and brush with the olive oil. Then spread the pizza sauce on top, leaving about ½ inch from the edge for the crust. Sprinkle the cheese on top followed by your vegetables and meat, if using.
1 tablespoon olive oil, ½ cup Pizza sauce, ¼ cup Mozzarella cheese, Vegetables, Meat
  • Bake and serve. Cook the pizza for 16 - 20 minutes, depending on how crispy you like it. Allow it to cool for about a minute then slice into pieces, serve, and enjoy!

Notes

Storage: Bake the dough, and let the pizza cool completely. Then, transfer the pieces to an airtight container and store them in the fridge for up to 5 days.
