Margarita Recipe with Agave

1 Cocktail Shaker

Ingredients

  • 2 oz tequila
  • 1 ½ oz lime juice
  • ¼ oz agave
  • 1 oz topo chico I love the flavored ones!, you can also use sparkling water
  • Lime wedge for rimming the glass optional
  • Coarse salt for rimming the glass optional

Instructions

  • Add the tequila, lime juice, agave, and topo chico to a cocktail shaker with ice and vigorously shake for 1 minute.
    2 oz tequila, 1 ½ oz lime juice, ¼ oz agave, 1 oz topo chico
  • If rimming the glass, use the lime wedge and run it around the rim of a glass while holding it upside down. Gently dip the rim of the glass into a shallow plate with coarse salt.

  • Add a large ice cube to the glass and pour the margarita over the ice. Top with a lime wedge and enjoy!
