Taco Seasoning (Homemade)

We have some type of taco meal in our house every single week and this is the seasoning blend I use every time! Homemade taco seasoning is cheaper, healthier, and more delicious than store-bought. From baked chicken tacos, to chicken nachos, to taco casserole, this is the only spice blend you need.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 ½ teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • ½ teaspoon oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ teaspoon sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  • Add all the spice together in a bowl or shallow plate and mix well to incorporate.
    1 tablespoon chili powder, 1 ½ teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon cumin, ½ teaspoon garlic powder, ½ teaspoon onion powder, ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper, ½ teaspoon oregano, ¼ teaspoon cinnamon, ¼ teaspoon sea salt, ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • Store the spice blend in an airtight jar or bag or use immediately in a recipe.

Notes

Storing - store the spice blend in an airtight container, like these spice jars, and it will keep for up to 6 months.
