Healthy Burger Bowl
Say hello to your new weeknight obsession—the Healthy Burger Bowl that brings all the burger joy without the bun! It’s loaded with allll the goods.

Burger Night - Bowl Edition
What is it about eating dinner out of a bowl that just hits differently?? It’s giving “I tried, but not too hard,” and honestly—I live for that energy. Bonus points: cleanup is basically nonexistent.
We don’t do beef burgers too often around here (my chicken burgers and turkey burgers are just too good), but this burger-in-a-bowl situation? It’s a whole new vibe. All the juicy, saucy, crunchy burger magic—none of the post-meal slump. The sauce is boss, the pickles bring the drama, and those sweet potato wedges? Absolute main character energy. It’s fast, flexible, and somehow makes me feel like I’ve got it together… even if I’m eating it on the couch in sweats.

Ingredients and Notes

- Burger Meat - I prefer 90% lean ground beef, but any variety will work. Then, I add garlic powder, onion powder, and Worcestershire sauce for a savory, smoky taste. For a gluten-free option, use coconut aminos in place of Worcestershire sauce.
- Tomato Salad - Grape tomatoes, red onion, lime juice, and sea salt combine for a refreshing salad topping.
- Sweet Potato Wedges - Slice a sweet potato into wedges, and toss the pieces with olive oil or avocado oil. Then, season with garlic powder, onion powder, and salt.
- For the Bowls - I start with a base of shredded lettuce. Then, I include avocado and pickles for toppings.
- Burger Sauce - Better than store-bought options, my special sauce combines avocado mayo, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, paprika, sea salt, and pepper.

Frequently Asked Questions
Once assembled, I don’t recommend storing leftover bowls. However, you can prep the different components and store them in separate airtight containers in the fridge. The beef and potato wedges will keep fresh for 4-5 days, the sauce will last for up to one week, and the veggies store well for 1-2 days.
Absolutely! Feel free to swap the beef with bison, ground turkey, or even ground chicken. Just keep in mind that the taste and texture will change slightly, depending on what you use.
