Greek Yogurt Caramel Apple Dip
This greek yogurt caramel apple dip is the classic cream cheese caramel apple dip, but with a greek yogurt twist! It's layered in a shallow pan with caramel sauce, chopped pecans, mini chocolate chips, and flaky sea salt, then served with crisp apple slices for dipping. It comes together in 10 minutes, serves about 12, and is naturally gluten-free. It's an easy fall party dessert that tastes like a caramel apple in dip form.

Fall in dip form 🍂🍎
Every fall my family goes apple picking, and every year we come home with way more apples than we could ever eat. I'd seen the cream cheese caramel apple dip all over, and it looks delicious. But between the brown sugar, the caramel, and the candy on top, it was a lot more sugar than I wanted to hand my kids.

Enter this greek yogurt version that checks all my boxes! It still tastes like a caramel apple, and I control how sweet it gets. My kids love it, and guests rave about it every time I serve it.

Ingredients & Notes
- Greek yogurt - Use plain, unsweetened greek yogurt. I like 5% milk-fat because it's creamier than 0% and spreads into a thick, smooth layer.
- Vanilla and maple syrup - These lightly sweeten the yogurt base. The toppings bring the rest of the sweetness!
- Caramel sauce: I use my vegan salted caramel sauce, which is just coconut milk and coconut sugar. It needs a couple of hours in the fridge, so make it ahead. Store-bought caramel works too if you want this done in 10 minutes.
- Pecans and mini chocolate chips - The crunchy toppings. Feel free to swap with chopped heath bar or peanuts or graham crackers too.
- Flaky sea salt - The final touch! The dip needs a little salt so don't skip this.
- Apples - Use a mix of red and green.
How to Make Greek Yogurt Caramel Apple Dip
You'll need a 9x13 pan and a spatula. No mixer, and no waiting on cream cheese to soften!

Tips
- Don't skip the flaky sea salt. It's the finishing layer that makes this taste like a salted caramel apple.
- Use a mix of red and green apples. You'll get tart and sweet slices on the same board, and the platter looks better too.
- Keep it out for 2 hours, max. It holds up well on the counter for about 2 hours, which is plenty for a party.
Make Ahead and Storeage
You can make the entire dip ahead of time. Layer the yogurt, caramel, pecans, chocolate chips, and flaky salt, then cover the pan and keep it in the fridge until you're ready to serve. It's one less thing to do the day of a party. Once it's out, it's good on the counter for about 2 hours.
