Quick and Easy Spiced Cajun Shrimp

I love cajun flavors and incorporate them into a variety of recipes like my cajun lobster pasta and this cajun shrimp dish! There’s just something about the bold, spicy, depth of flavor that leaves me coming back for more.

Even better, this shrimp recipe cooks in minutes in just one skillet, meaning it’s perfect for busy weeknights. I prepare a large batch, add a side dish or two like air fryer roasted cauliflower and crispy smashed fingerling potatoes, and dinner is served!

Cajun Shrimp Ingredients and Notes

  • Shrimp - Fresh shrimp works best, but you can also use frozen. Thaw them first, and make sure to peel and devein them if needed.
  • Seasonings - Paprika, cayenne pepper, oregano, garlic powder, sea salt, and black pepper create a bold, spicy, savory cajun flavor.
  • Oil - I prefer the strong flavor of olive oil, but avocado oil will also work.
